Nordspirit in Chamonix: 30 years of Dæhlie and the AW27 collection

A first-person account from the Nordspirit team

From 4 to 8 October, Chamonix hosted an international ACTIVE BRANDS gathering dedicated to the Dæhlie AW27 collection. In the brand’s 30th anniversary year, partners came together from around the world. Nordspirit joined the event as Dæhlie’s official distributor in Kazakhstan.

What to bring from Kazakhstan — and what to pack for the Alps

As I prepared for the trip, I was thinking about more than my suitcase. I wanted to introduce our colleagues to Kazakhstan: its culture, striking landscapes and sporting achievements. Then came a more practical question: what should I pack?

Sunglasses, so I could look towards Mont Blanc without squinting. Waterproof clothing for walks, a light jacket for morning runs and comfortable outfits for long days of presentations and discussions. Almost everything needed for that mix of travel and work can be found in Dæhlie’s collections.

A new season begins with a conversation

Kazakhstan sparked considerable interest. Colleagues asked about the country, its opportunities and its sporting culture. Those conversations became just as valuable as discovering the new collection.

The programme included AW27 collection presentations and discussions about the coming season. More than 80 people gathered in Chamonix: dealers, ambassadors, ACTIVE BRANDS headquarters staff and the company’s CEO. Sharing experience helped us understand different markets and explore new opportunities for the brand.

New ideas to take home

An evening at La Folie Douce brought the productive week to a colourful close, with French glamour, music and dancing.

Nordspirit returns from Chamonix with new contacts, fresh ideas and a clearer view of the next steps for Dæhlie in Kazakhstan. A few days among the French Alps became an important part of our preparations for the next season.

DAHLIE AW27: new technology, expressive colours and an updated RAW range

The DAHLIE autumn–winter 2027 collection brings together technical solutions for cross-country ski training, new colour combinations and functional styles for running. Key additions for the season include the RAW 7.0 convertible jacket with 37.5 Technology, updated Chase apparel and new styles for training after dark.

RAW 7.0: a new level of comfort

At the heart of the updated range is the RAW 7.0 convertible jacket — a hooded jacket that can also be worn as a vest — in which DAHLIE introduces 37.5 Technology. It uses active particles, including volcanic sand and activated carbon, to increase the surface area of the fibres, manage heat effectively and accelerate moisture evaporation.

Another update is the inside of the jacket, now made entirely from wool. The moisture-resistant outer fabric is retained to provide protection from the elements.

RAW 7.0 is available in two colours: Black and Stone White. The jacket is complemented by RAW 7.0 pants, which now feature stretch, insulated panels made from natural wool at the back. Together, they form a functional outfit designed for both comfort and a striking look during training.

The new Chase and updated bestsellers

The AW27 collection also includes the Chase jacket with three-layer softshell and a modern design — for those who value protection from the weather and a close fit.

Familiar styles Challenge 3.0 and Power 2.0 receive new colour options. The women’s range features delicate Cold Lilac and expressive Pink Coral. In the men’s collection, rich Blaze Orange stands out, while blue paired with Fudge Brown adds depth and character to the looks.

The DAHLIE collection lets you build an outfit from individual layers: vests, fleece garments and base layers. They can be combined according to the weather and training intensity, with suitable accessories completing the outfit.

DAHLIE DARK HOURS: for evening and night training

When the day ends, training may be just beginning. For the first time, the DAHLIE RUN 365 collection includes styles with a luminescent effect — a distinctive visual feature for evening and night runs. DAHLIE DARK HOURS is for those who do not limit their sport to daylight hours and make time to train even after sunset.

RUN 365 means running all year round, without an off-season or breaks dictated by the calendar. A new colour palette and expressive graphics complement the collection’s functionality, allowing you to choose apparel for different conditions and the mood of your training session.

DARK HOURS is not just about the time of day; it is also about style. Modern, eye-catching and genuinely cool!

Materials and certification

For AW27, DAHLIE expands its range of styles using recycled polyester certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

The collection materials also identify the main fabric of Jacket Premium 3.0 jackets and RAW 7.0 vests as bluepass Article. This designation confirms that the relevant material is produced in accordance with bluesign criteria.
